The Lit Mag
The quality of the layouts and creativity put into creating the newer Lit Mag, helped its overall success. I think the bounty of side pictures help compliment the entries. I especially like the illustrations that link to the entries (pg. 54). I also like the size of the new lit mag, it is more subtle and less intimidating. In the future I think we should model the Lit Mag after the part years one, but incorporate pictures that positively compliment the entries. The variety of work in both Magazines was exceptional. I also like the slanted stories and staggered lines.

i agree with your ideas on the smaller lit mag
Yeah, i thought the pictures helped it not feel so blank.
i agree the size definitely is less intimidating. i like that you gave an example w/ pg. 54 it made it easy to know what you were talking about.
I concur with your thinking pertaining to the spacial size of last year's magazine. I also completely agree that slanted words make the magazine's overall aesthetic appeal greater. I think you really spent a lot of time formulating your opinions on the litmag.
Slanted stories and staggered lines are a good idea. I also think that the size was not too intimidating or obnoxious.
I agree that it's important for the images to compliment the text and not just be random or forced. I like the smaller size of last year's lit mag, too.
I'm for the Small size, and for find visual art that better matches with the poems.
I agree with a smaller 'zine!
I agree with the idea of the smaller MAG size and concur with the idea of keeping the slanted fonts and writing styles. Way to think outside the box!
